We are pleased to announce that Michael Topple will be inducted as an Elder at Priesthill URC on September 18th 2022. Our preacher that Sunday is the Rev. Paul Whittle who will induct Michael as an Elder.
Serving alongside the Minister, Elders are ordained members of the Church who meet together to lead and steer the Church, and share in pastoral responsibility for the Church’s members.
Michael was ordained an Elder at Chappel URC in Essex back in October 2020 and served as an Elder there until moving to Scotland to train for ministry. Michael says, ‘I am looking forward to joining Nancy, Lynn and Ruth in helping to lead the Church here in Priesthill, and pray that God would continue to bless us as we listen for His will in this place.’
